Dominic Raab 5/1 favourite to be next Tory leader

| 15.11.2018

It’s a tumultuous time for the Conservatives, and the odds now make Dominic Raab favourite to be the party’s next leader.

The former Brexit secretary and current MP for Esher and Walton is 5/1 in the betting to be the Tories next head honcho.

He’s followed by Boris Johnson and Sajid Javid, who are priced up at 6/1 apiece.

They’re followed by Jacob Rees-Mogg and Jeremy Hunt (each 10/1), while Michael Gove is available at 12s.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “Raab’s no fool, and his resignation puts him in pole position to swoop in as the next Tory leader, as and when May departs.”
