We start at Ascot with two runners in the big Handicap Chase at 3.15. This is a very hot race though and I’d be surprised if Marracudja Won. He has been coming down in the handicap and has a low weight but this looks very competitive.

One For Billy has had a great summer and he runs off a strong mark here of 145. He is very consistent and I think he should have a chance.

This will be his last run before he has a little break. He has been great for us and it’s only the early stages for him as a chaser.

At Haydock we run Denmead (12.10) who has a bit to find on ratings.

He won well first time out but just pulled too hard second time. As I said, he has a little bit to find but he should run well.

Sam Red (12.40 Haydock) runs how he wants to. He won at Cheltenham but obviously didn’t make much of an effort at Wincanton. He’s hard to predict because it is up to him really.

Crucial Role runs in the Graduation Chase (1.15). It is his first time over fences. We’ve been struggling to find some ground to get him started on and we’ve just got to get out there really.

He’s obviously got no experience over fences but the ground is ok here. It’s a strong starting point and we will see where the season takes us.

Ch’Tibello runs in a Handicap Hurdle (1.50). The handicapper only dropped him a pound last time so he must have thought he ran really well when he was beaten by about 15 lengths.

I just can’t quite understand that and I think he is struggling with his mark and the handicapper isn’t paying attention to his moderate runs which is frustrating.

Mister Universum runs at Huntingdon (1.40). It is a lady riders’ race and Gina Andrews will be on board.

He’ll have some sort of chance as he’s been very consistent on decent ground and the ground looks good for him here.

We go to Uttoxeter on Sunday with Frankie Rapper (1.10). It’s 2m4f which is as short as he’d want to go but he’ll like the track. I’d give him a little bit of a chance.

Indirocco is going over a big trip over fences in the 2.10, which is what he wants.

He has been frustrating and expensive to follow but he does look like he’ll win a race or two.

Finally Notwhatiam runs in the 2.40 here. He has won around course and distance. Although he’s got a bit more weight this time, I think he’d have some sort of chance.
