Tom Hiddleston goes ODDS-ON for Bond role for the first time

Tom Hiddleston has emerged as the odds-on favourite to become the next James Bond.

The Avengers actor is now 4/5 for the role – making him the first person to go odds-on to replace Daniel Craig as 007.

Fellow long-term candidates Idris Elba and Tom Hardy are available at 5/1 apiece, while Aidan Turner and James Norton are priced at 10/1 each.

Any Female can be backed at 12/1 for the role, but it looks as though Hiddleston could be handed the keys to Bond’s famous Aston Martin sooner rather than later.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “It’s looking increasingly likely the name will be Hiddleston; Tom Hiddleston.”
