Ivanka Trump 5/1 third-fav for vacant UN Ambassador job

There’s a big vacancy in the Trump administration right now, following Nikki Haley’s shock resignation as US Ambassador to the UN. But the latest odds suggest the job could be staying within the first family.

It’s just 5/1 for the President’s daughter Ivanka Trump to take on the position – making her the third-favourite in the betting.

Meanwhile, her husband and Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner is also in the running at odds of 10/1.

As it stands, Dina Powell is 2/1 favourite for the position, with Richard Grenell is a 4/1 shot. Meanwhile, South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham is a shade behind Ivanka at odds of 6/1.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “While the likes of Powell and Grenell appear to be a more logical choice, we can’t rule out Trump getting the role.”
