Arsenal v Leicester City tips: Can the Gunners keep winning?

Although not saying it publicly, Arsenal may well have been aggrieved at the timing of the international break.

Unai Emery’s side resume their league season looking to extend their nine-game unbeaten streak against Leicester City at the Emirates Stadium tonight.

But the Foxes rarely make it easy for Arsenal, which sets this one up as another potential thriller…

Match Odds

Arsenal are 8/15 to win their tenth game in a row in all competitions. Leicester City did beat the Gunners at the King Power Stadium last season and are 9/2 to win away. A stalemate is 13/4.

The pair’s 0-0 draw in the opening game of the 2016/17 season has seemed an anomaly.

However, they shared eleven goals in two league games last season. Our traders have it at 5/4 to feature Over 3.5 goals.

Talking Tactics

Sokratis is still sidelined for the Gunners, so Emery should stick with Rob Holding and Shkodran Mustafi at the heart of defence.

Mesut Ozil should come into the starting line-up. But one decision the manager will have to make is whether to play Alex Iwobi or Aaron Ramsey as part of the attacking trio behind Alexandre Lacazette.

Iwobi has impressed, particularly against Fulham last time out. But Ramsey did score one of the goals of the season in the same match.

As for Leicester, boss Claude Puel has only Demarai Gray and Matty James out injured.

Defender Jonny Evans should get the nod over Caglar Soyuncu to start in place of the suspended Wes Morgan.

He could plump for an identical 4-2-3-1 formation as Arsenal.

James Maddison looks set to start in the number 10 role, but Puel has the options of Ricardo Pereira, Rachid Ghezzal, Mark Albrighton and Kelechi Iheanacho to fill the other attacking positions.

Goalscoring odds

Jamie Vardy has netted six in his last seven Premier League games against Arsenal. This included in the frenetic 4-3 Gunners win last season.

Vardy is 14/1 to score and assist. Or you can also get 25/1 for the former England man to notch in both halves.

Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have formed a fearsome partnership this season. Both men netting four league goals apiece.

Aubameyang is 11/2 to score and assist, and is 12/1 to score from outside the box.

His strike partner is 3/1 to bag 2 Goals or more in what could be a high-scoring match.
