Graham Potter, Brighton, Premier League, Norwich v Brighton betting tips

The Championship is in full swing and the unforgiving nature means you can’t rest on your laurels for too long.

Both Stoke City and Swansea City are coming into this one off the back of score draws last weekend.

The duo were both relegated from the Premier League last season, but have invested in their squads in an attempt to go straight back up.

It’s sure to be a tightly contested match up and we take a look at who could come out on top…

Match odds

Stoke could and probably should have beaten Sheffield Wednesday after going 2-0 up on Saturday.

However, they’re looking for a third successive home win in all competitions, after beating Hull in the league and Huddersfield Town in the Carabao Cup.

The Potters are 17/20 to win, which would mean they avoid defeat for the fourteenth time in fifteen home matches against Swansea.

Graham Potter’s men are 17/5 for victory. The first draw in four games is 12/5.

Talking tactics

The away side will be without Bersant Celina and Jay Fulton who both came off at half-time during Saturday’s goalless draw against Nottingham Forest.

The injury list is adding up with Leroy Fer and Tom Carroll still unavailable for Swansea.

Nathan Dyer or Wayne Routledge could come back into the side, with Potter likely to stick with his 4-4-1-1 formation.

Stoke will have to do without James McClean and former Swans midfielder Sam Clucas.

But with a beefed up front-line this year, they could yet again leave Bojan Krkic on the bench.

Goalscorer odds

Benik Afobe has plundered four of the nine goals Stoke have scored so far this season.

The former Wolves man is 7/5 to score Anytime.

Peter Crouch will have to tear himself away from promoting his autobiography and is 9/2 to be the first goal-scorer.

The Swans have their own hitman in Oliver McBurnie leading the line. The Scotland international is 14/1 to bag a brace.
