Six Premier League managers shorter than 10/1 to be next man out

Six Premier League managers are currently shorter than 10/1 to be the next man to exit.

As it stands, Leicester City boss Claude Puel (4/1) and Neil Warnock (5/1) head the betting to be the next departing gaffers.

However, they’re only just ahead of Jose Mourinho. His Manchester United side have had a very patchy start to the season, and he’s 6/1 to be the next departing boss.

Southampton gaffer Mark Hughes is also at 6s, with Rafa Benitez at 7/1.

There’s now some breathing space for West Ham United boss Manuel Pellegrini, following an upturn in form. Having been as short as 7/2 for the chop earlier this season, he’s now a far lengthier 8/1.

At the far end of the betting, Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola are 100/1 apiece to be the next to walk.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Plenty of sides are struggling for form at this early stage in the season, and while Pep and Klopp are the safest men in the league, at least six other bosses couldn’t be further from that position.”
