Manny Pacquiao favourite to be Amir Khan’s next opponent

Pacquiao v Horn

The speculation continues to swirl over who Amir Khan will fight in his next bout. But the latest odds suggest there’s a firm favourite in the form of Manny Pacquiao.

The 39-year-old fighter is 11/10 to face off against King Khan, in what would be the first ever meeting of the pair.

Khan enjoyed victory over Colombia’s Samuel Vargas last weekend, in just his second bout since mid-2016.

Kell Brook is second-favourite to be the Bolton boxer’s next opponent, at odds of 2/1.

He’s followed by former WBC welterweight title holder Danny Garcia at 4/1, while Jeff Horn and Shawn Porter are also single-digits in the odds.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Khan got a few rounds under his belt last weekend and that means he should be well prepared for his next opponent, who at this stage looks set to be Pacquiao.”
