Boris Johnson has emerged as the clear favourite to replace Theresa May as Prime Minister, according to our latest odds.

The former Foreign Secretary’s chances of moving into 10 Downing Street have been cut to just 9/2 overnight (was 5/1).

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn remains the 6/1 second favourite, while Jacob Rees-Mogg has been pushed out to 10/1 (was 8/1).

There’s also now a 7/4 chance that a General Election is called in 2019.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Boris is fast becoming a clear favourite to replace May in Downing Street, and it could be as early as next year, according to the latest odds.”
