Bournemouth v Crystal Palace tips: Will Cherries bounce back from Burnley defeat?

Published:

Bournemouth’s early-season momentum was derailed by last week’s 4-0 thumping against Burnley. They’ll be looking to get back on track in the league against Crystal Palace tonight.

However, Eddie Howe’s side have only won one of their last five games against the Eagles. Can they improve on that record? Or will Palace climb into the top-half with a win themselves?

Ahead of the Monday night action, you’ll find all the key odds right here…

Match Odds

The hosts are 6/5 favourites to win here, while Palace are 21/10 to get the points.

Four of the six top-flight meetings between these sides have ended in a draw. We go 12/5 that the spoils are shared again.

Both fixtures between them last season finished 2-2. It’s an 11/1 shot to happen again.

Talking Tactics

Bournemouth will look to control possession at home. They’ll want to get Ryan Fraser on the ball out wide. The Scotland international has made a great start to the season. Callum Wilson will pose a threat up front too.

Howe could bring in Lewis Cook to cover for Dan Gosling’s absence. Cook will want to stake a claim for more regular starts in midfield.

Palace’s plan, as ever, will be to get Wilfried Zaha into dangerous areas. He could torment the home defence if he’s given room to run into.

Christian Benteke’s injury means Jordan Ayew to is set to continue up front for Roy Hodgson’s side.

Goalscorer Odds

Our odds suggest Wilson is the likeliest scorer at 5/1 First and 13/8 Anytime. His strike partner Joshua King isn’t far behind at 19/10 to get a goal.

The Eagles will be looking to Zaha to get them a result. He’s 11/2 to open the scoring or 9/5 to score at any point.

Luka Milivojevic bagged home and away against the Cherries last term. The Eagles midfielder is 5/1 to score again here.
