Swansea v Leeds tips: Bielsa’s high-flying Whites can win again

Leeds United will be out to maintain their perfect start to the season tonight when they head to Wales to take on Swansea City.

The Whites have been the stand-out side in the Championship under new boss Marcelo Bielsa. Leeds have won three games from three, swatting Stoke City, Derby County and Rotherham aside with style and vigour.

They’re out to make it four from four against a Swans outfit who are also unbeaten under new coach Graham Potter.

Match odds

Relegated from the Premier League in May, Swansea still have a solid squad about them. But such is Bielsa’s impact at Leeds that our traders have the visitors as 13/10 favourites.

There’s 2/1 about a home win, while 12/5 says the game ends a draw.

Talking tactics

It’s hard to overstate just what Bielsa is turning Leeds into. The Elland Road outfit are playing football usually seen on the continent, and so far, opponents in the Championship can’t keep up.

That’s the first objective tonight for Potter and Swansea. Find a way to keep up with or stop Leeds’ movement and possession-based play.

Swansea’s second problem is stopping Leeds’ excellent attacking options. Bielsa can call upon Kemar Roofe, Mateusz Klich, Patrick Bamford and Ezgjan Alioski.

Goalscorer odds

Having scored nine goals in their three league games so far, it’s no surprise to see Leeds forwards top the goalscorer betting.

Roofe and Bamford share first goalscorer favouritism at 9/2, ahead of Swans striker Oliver McBurnie at 11/2.

Plenty will be fancying Klich to break the deadlock at 8/1 however. Leeds’ Polish star has already done so twice this term, against Stoke and Derby.

As for the anytime market, 8/5 says Roofe finds his fourth league goal of the campaign tonight.
