Super Sunday Tips: Arsenal and Spurs at the double away from home?

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Unai Emery takes on Neil Warnock, and two of the Premier League’s top-four clash at Vicarage Road on Super Sunday this afternoon.

Tottenham Hotspur’s trip to face Watford will determine which side – if any – retains a 100% record going into the international break. Meanwhile, there’s a clash of styles at the Cardiff City Stadium.

We’ve looked ahead to both contests with a full array of tips…

Cardiff City v Arsenal (1:30pm, Sky Sports Main Event)

The opening game of the day sees a culture clash in South Wales, as Arsenal bid to follow up last week’s success against West Ham United away at Cardiff City.

Emery’s men should have too much for the winless Bluebirds at 8/15. But Warnock won’t make it easy for the Gunners in the Welsh capital.

City rank top for number of clearances and second for most tackles made. The match to be level after 30 minutes is 8/11.

The North Londoners’ superiority should begin to show after that, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is unlikely to be as wasteful as he has been recently.

He’s 10/11 to Score First and 13/5 to Score 2 or More.

Arsenal are also 13/8 to Win to Nil against a Cardiff side which is yet to score in the league.

Watford v Tottenham Hotspur (4pm, Sky Sports Main Event)

Form suggests this should be a tight contest. Both sides sit in the top-four in the Premier League after racking up three wins each from their opening three games.

But history tells a different story. Tottenham have won eight of their last nine matches against Watford in all competitions. They’re 6/10 to prevail this afternoon.

Whatever the result, we’re expecting the net to bulge. Neither side has scored fewer than two goals in any of their matches so far this season.

It’s 7/10 for Both Teams to Score for the third Premier League meeting in a row between the teams at Vicarage Road. Likewise, it’s 21/10 for Spurs to Win and Both Teams to Score.

Harry Kane is the 7/10 favourite to Score Anytime for the visitors. Yet it’s Dele Alli who has developed a habit of scoring against the Hertfordshire side.

The midfielder has bagged four goals in his last four matches against the Hornets. He’s 11/5 Anytime or 11/1 to Score 2 or More.
