A savvy snooker punter has scooped a whopping £100,000 after landing a monster 15-fold accumulator with Ladbrokes.

The male customer, who wishes to remain anonymous, won £100,124.82 after placing the wager late on Sunday evening in his local branch of Ladbrokes in Somerset.

Our baize guru included 15 players in his long-shot punt, with the likes of Marco Fu, Barry Hawkins and Ali Carter all needing to emerge victorious in their first round matches at the World Open in China.

They all went through to the next round, although Fu was one of six players to keep our man on his toes by triumphing 5-4.

Home favourite Liang Wenbo was beaten 5-1 by Blackpool’s James Cahill. But thankfully Wenbo didn’t make it into this particular 15-fold acca.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “This is the biggest snooker accumulator win we’ve ever seen placed on a BetStation. Predicting the wins of 15 games has sent our traders snooker loopy, but we can only applaud this gentleman’s belief.”
