Manchester City now 20/1 for an invincible Premier League season

Published:

Manchester City have been priced up at 20/1 for an invincible Premier League season following an unbeaten start to the campaign.

Pep Guardiola’s men are currently without defeat in their last nine top-flight matches since a 3-2 reverse to Manchester United in early April.

So far this term they’ve seen off Arsenal, put six past Huddersfield Town and most recently collected a valuable 1-1 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The reigning champions only lost two games throughout the whole of last season on their way to a record tally of 100 points.

Can they go even better this time around and equal Arsenal’s invincibles from 2003-2004? Our traders aren’t taking any chances.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “They may have dropped points against Wolves at the weekend but if Pep is looking at improving on last season, then an Invincible campaign has to be the way forward – and we’re not ruling it out just yet.”
