Man United v Leicester tips: Foxes can attack the Man Utd henhouse

Manchester United kick off their Premier League campaign with a clash against Leicester City at Old Trafford.
Preparations could definitely have been better for both these clubs over the summer. Manchester United have made minimal signings with Jose Mourinho getting greyer by the week.
Leicester have done some savvy business but head into this without some key players. It’s a bit of a see-saw game that kicks us off…
Match Odds
Man United are heavy favourites for the win at 4/9. Leicester are out at 6/1, with the Draw available at 3/1.
The Foxes have a particularly poor record at Old Trafford, which could explain the odds. They haven’t won this fixture since 1966.
United are in the midst of a personnel crisis with a number of players either injured or arriving back late from the World Cup. Leicester on the Double Chance are 31/20.
However, Claude Puel is unlikely to be without both Jamie Vardy and Harry Maguire.
But the East Midlands outfit have found the net in three of their last four visits to Old Trafford. Both Teams To Score is 21/20.
Talking Tactics
Don’t expect Mourinho to change the habit of a lifetime and go gung-ho this season. The Portuguese tactician won’t take any chances in the opening game.
With the likes of Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic, Romelu Lukaku, and Marcos Rojo out, the United manager will set the side up to be tough to be and gradually wear down the opposition.
Leicester are unlikely to go for it too much, either. Puel will look to counter United on the break, using the pace of Kelechi Iheanacho to attack the Red Devils’ backline.
Goalscorer odds
Mourinho may be missing a handful, but he’s still got a few aces up his sleeve. Alexis Sanchez, Marcus Rashford, and Juan Mata are likely to start in attack.
The Chilean, in particular, has had his first summer break in years and should be fresh as a daisy. He’s 10/3 to open the scoring and 6/5 to notch Anytime.
For Leicester, former City youngster Iheanacho will be raring to go here. He failed to hit the heights expected of him last season. But the Nigerian World Cup star is likely to improve after a settling season.
