Sevilla and Villarreal will both be pushing for a Champions League spot this term. They face each other this Sunday and the winner will get a major early-season boost.

You can check out our tips for that game and selected others from La Liga this weekend right here:

Sevilla v Villarreal (Sunday, 7:15pm)

Sevilla are 3/4 favourites here after beating Rayo Vallecano 4-1 last weekend.

Villarreal will be looking to get points on the board after their loss to Real Sociedad, but they’ve not won any of their last five games against Sunday’s hosts.

There tends to be goals when these two meet. Three of those five games have produced Over 3.5 Goals. It’s 7/4 to happen again here. Sevilla and Over 2.5 Goals is also available for 31/20.

Andre Silva could get a few of those goals. He made the perfect start to life at Sevilla with a hat trick on the opening weekend. The Portugal international is 3/1 to open the scoring, or 14/5 to get 2 or more.

Atletico Madrid v Rayo Vallecano (Saturday, 7:15pm)

Atletico have only lost one home game in the league since last April. It’s hard to see anything but a 1/6 home win in this Madrid derby.

Diego Simeone’s team are also 8/13 to Win to Nil, while it’s 11/10 that Diego Costa scores in an Atleti victory.

Valladolid v Barcelona (Saturday, 9:15pm)

Newly-promoted Valladolid welcome Barcelona to town on Saturday night. The champions are 5/4 to win with a -2 Handicap.

Cristiano Ronaldo may have left, but La Liga still boasts arguably the best player in the world in Lionel Messi. Barca’s number 10 is 11/8 to get 2 goals or more for the second week running.

Girona v Real Madrid (Sunday, 9:15pm)

Girona won this fixture 2-1 last season. They’ll fancy their chances of causing another upset against a Madrid side still adjusting to life without Ronaldo. Girona or Draw is 21/10 in the Double Chance market.

The two games between these sides last season had a combined total of 12 goals. It’s 4/5 for Both Teams to Score and 13/10 for Over 3.5 Goals.

The Champions League holders will be looking to Gareth Bale to provide the goals. The Welsh winger is a 3/1 shot to get the opener.
