Champions League Play-Off Tips: Can Ajax and AEK win through?

It’s crunch time in the Champions League qualifiers this evening, as six sides battle it out across Europe for a place in Thursday’s group stage draw.
All three of tonight’s ties are finely poised. And we’ve got tips for each of them below.
AEK Athens v MOL Vidi
European minnows MOL Vidi face an uphill task as they head to Greece for tonight’s second-leg against AEK Athens.
The side formerly known as Videoton suffered a 2-1 home defeat to Celtic’s conquerors last week and must now defy the stats to make it to the group stage for the first time.
Five continental away wins in their entire history does not bode well for a side bidding to turnaround a first-leg deficit. They’re 11/2 to seal a win inside 90 minutes against 4/7 for the hosts.
The Hungarian hopefuls will also have to breach a tight AEK defence if they’re to get any joy. The Greek Super League side have kept six clean sheets in their last eight home matches.
Dinamo Zagreb v Young Boys
This tie is on a knife edge after Mislav Orsic cancelled out Kevin Mbabu’s second-minute opener for Young Boys in Bern last week.
Both sides will fancy their chances of edging through. But it’s their respective home and away records in the UCL which could be the most telling indicator this evening.
Dinamo Zagreb are unbeaten in their last nine UCL qualifiers. Young Boys have lost their last six away ties at Europe’s top table.
You can back the home win in this one at 6/5. Two attack-minded sides could also be amongst the goals. It’s 8/13 for Both Teams to Score.
Dynamo Kiev v Ajax
It’s been a terrific start to the season for Ajax. Erik ten Hag’s men have won six of their seven matches in all competitions.
Last week’s 3-1 success in Amsterdam gives them a nice cushion ahead of tonight’s trip to Kiev, where they’re 29/20 to extend their winning run.
A visit to the Ukrainian capital won’t be easy, though. Dynamo have lost just two of their last 29 home matches. They’ve won five of their last six European qualifying ties too.
They’re 7/4 to pick up the win in 90 minutes here. Winger Benjamin Verbic has scored three goals in his last six matches. He’s 12/5 to add to his tally Anytime in this one.
