Catalans Dragons face Warrington Wolves in Saturday’s Ladbrokes Challenge Cup Final at Wembley. And you can check out the pair’s respective routes to Wembley here and here.

Ahead of the game, we’ve got the need-to-know on both sides – as well as some tips on the action…

Head-to-Head and Form

Warrington have dominated this fixture in recent times. They’ve won four of the last five clashes, with the other ending in a tie.

Each of the Wire’s last three wins has come by a margin of over 25 points. The pair’s clash in Super League earlier this month ended in a 56-6 mauling for Sean Price’s side.

In terms of general form, there’s much less difference. Each side have won five of their last 10 games across league and cup.

Match Odds and Handicaps

Warrington are 4/9 favourites to lift the trophy, with Catalans out at 9/5. However, if you fancy the pair to play out a tie in normal time for the second time in 2018, that’s 18/1.

It’s the Cheshire side who have the big-game pedigree. Super League Grand Finalists in 2016, they’ve also won the Challenge Cup three times since 2009.

Having breezed past one opponent after another in this year’s cup, they should be comfortably too good for the Dragons. Especially with Catalans missing star man Jodie Broughton through injury.

Warrington -6.5 is a shade of odds-on at 10/11, though they could well pull off the more ambitious -14 handicap at 9/4.

Both of these sides tend to be strong starters, so it seems likely we’ll see a Try Scored before the 12:00 minute mark at 4/5.

Try Scorers

Winger Tom Lineham has been in fine form in the Challenge Cup this year. ‘The Flying Pig’ grabbed a hat-trick of tries against Toronto Wolfpack, as well as two in the semi-final mauling of Leeds Rhinos.

He’s Evens to grab a Try anytime, while 5/1 says he gets Two or More Tries during the match.

The 25-year-old is narrowly behind teammate Josh Charnley in the betting. The Chorley native is 10/11 to score a Try at any point.

Catalans’ best hope lies with France international Fouad Yaha, at odds of 5/4.
