Ashley Roberts fav for Strictly 2018; Katie Piper the punters’ pick

Ashley Roberts has been installed as the early favourite to win Strictly Come Dancing 2018.
Our traders have priced up all of the confirmed contestants for the Glitter Ball Trophy and it’s the ex-Pussycat Doll who comes out on top at 4/1.
Former Eastenders actor Charles Venn is her nearest challenger at 6/1, followed by radio DJ Vick Hope at 7/1.
Current Albert Square resident and Blue singer Lee Ryan is 7/1 to breathe easy on another reality show after his stint on Celebrity Big Brother in 2014.
Danny John-Jules and Faye Tozer round out the sub-10/1 contenders at 8/1 apiece.
As many as nine contestants are currently available at a double-figure price.
And it’s 16/1 shot Katie Piper who has proved the most popular pick with punters so far ahead of the series’ return on Saturday 8th September 2018.
It’s bad news for Susannah Constantine, though, who is the long-odds outsider at 40/1.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “We’re just two weeks away from a new series and the betting suggests it’s Ashley Roberts who’ll take this year’s Giltter Ball.”
