The second round at Wimbledon gets underway later today with Victoria Azarenka, Serena Williams and eight-time men’s singles champion Roger Federer all due on centre court.

Reigning champion Federer had no trouble in dispatching Dusan Lajovic in straight sets in his first round match.

The Swiss ace has only failed to reach the third round once at SW19 since 2003. He’s 1/50 to clean up this afternoon. His opponent, Lukas Lacko, is a chunky 14/1.

Azarenka is a double semi-finalist at Wimbledon but faces a tough ask against world number eight Karolina Pliskova. The Czech Republic star reached the quarter-final of the Australian Open earlier in the year but has never gone beyond round two in South London.

You can back Azarenka to advance at 11/8 against 4/7 for Pliskova.

Williams completes Wednesday’s centre court line-up as she continues her comeback after the birth of her daughter.

The seven-time Wimbledon champion has dropped down to 181st in the WTA Rankings but returned to the grass after one-year off by defeating Arantxa Rus in the first round.

It’s Bulgaria’s Viktoriya Tomova up next for Serena. Williams is 1/16 to go through as she attempts to equal Margaret Court’s all-time record of 24 Grand Slam singles titles.

Sister Venus is also in action against Romania’s Alexandra Dulgheru. The 38-year-old is also odds-on to win at 1/8.

She’ll be followed on court two by world number two Caroline Wozniacki, who is 1/7 to see off Ekaterina Makarova (9/2).

Last year’s beaten finalist Marin Cilic came through a difficult first round test against Yoshihito Nishioka 6-1, 6-4, 6-4 in the first round.

He takes on Guido Pella on court one and is 1/25 to advance, with 9/1 available about the Argentinean.

Meanwhile, Britain’s singles hopes on day two rest with 19-year-old Katie Swan.

The Wimbledon wildcard entrant impressed on her court debut by defeating world no. 36 Irina-Camelia Begu 6-2, 6-2.

She faces a tougher test today against Mihaela Buzarnescu, who is seeded 29 for the tournament. Swan is 3/1 to cause another upset when her match gets underway at around 11:30am.

Other stars in action today include Agnieszka Radwanska, Milos Raonic and Madison Keys, who takes on Thailand’s Luksika Kumkhum.
