Will England ever have a better chance to win the World Cup? Beat Sweden today and they’re into the last four. And anything can happen from there.

Gareth Southgate has been working hard to stop people getting carried away. But the route to the final has opened up very nicely for his side.

Our traders have England at 19/20 to win in 90 minutes. Sweden are 7/2, with the draw at 21/10.

We’ve got England as clear 4/9 favourites to qualify too. The Swedes are out at 7/4.

The odds are against Sweden, but they’ve only lost two of their last 15 games against the Three Lions. They’ve kept three clean sheets in their four World Cup games too. Janne Andersson’s make up for their lack of stars with their work ethic and organisation.

They’re going to try to keep things as tight as possible in Samara. England could struggle to break them down – they’ve only scored two goals from open play in Russia.

There aren’t likely to be many clear chances for the Three Lions. Both Sides to Score – No is 8/13. Under 1.5 Goals is 29/20, with Under 2.5 Goals odds-on at 4/9.

If this one can’t be settled in 90 minutes, England are 9/1 to win in extra-time, with Sweden back at 16/1. Both teams are 10/1 to win on penalties.

There’s no surprise that Harry Kane leads the goalscorer markets.  The tournament’s top scorer so far is 13/5 to get the first goal, or 11/10 to add to his tally anytime.

Raheem Sterling is 23/10 to get on the scoresheet, while John Stones (11/1) and Harry Maguire (12/1) have been real threats from set-pieces.

Marcus Berg and Ola Toivonen are Sweden’s likeliest scorers at 14/5 and 7/2 respectively.
