Monday’s Transfer Rumour Round-Up: Hart and Bonucci headline

Published:

The countdown is well and truly on as the transfer window prepares to swing shut on 9th August.

We have another raft of transfer speculation to round up today…

Hart set on Scotland?

Joe Hart has been the odd man out at Man City since Pep Guardiola’s arrival and looks set for another season away from Eastlands.

The former England number one is 5/1 or shorter for a move to either Rangers or Celtic. The 31-year-old would surely be first-choice at either club.

New Rangers boss Steven Gerrard may feel Hart is the stopper he needs to challenge their local rivals.

Bonucci – Premier League bound?

He may have only signed for AC Milan this time last year. But Leonardo Bonucci could be Premier League bound.

The Italian was thought to be one of Europe’s best defender whilst at Juventus and nothing much has changed there.

Chelsea and Man United are in need of a shake-up defensively and could be the two most likely destinations.

Eden eyeing Madrid project?

This one seems to have been rumbling on for ever, but Eden Hazard’s move to Real Madrid could be edging ever closer.

With Cristiano Ronaldo gone, Los Blancos will be looking for a new Galactico. Hazard wants Madrid so this could happen!

Martial on Chelsea’s radar

Mauricio Sarri will be eager to continue his Chelsea re-brand following the arrival of Jorginho from Napoli.

Barcelona are making moves to lure Willian to the Nou Camp which could free up some funds for a move for Anthony Martial.

The arrival of Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United thwarted Martial and his future is still up in the air going into the new season.

In other news…

Andre Schurrle may be set for a return to West London.

Fulham are reportedly ready to offer the 27-year-old an opportunity to come back to the Premier League as they prepare for their first season back in the big time.

The Man United transfer merry-go-round could now stop at Harry Maguire’s door. The Leicester City defender became a cult-hero for England in their World Cup campaign.

Rumours are circulating that Jose Mourinho is ready to pounce.
