Friday at Wimbledon: Nadal, Djokovic, Anderson and Isner all in action

After the drama of yesterday’s Wimbledon women’s singles semi-finals, it’s the men’s turn this afternoon. And what a day of action we have in store.
First, Kevin Anderson takes on John Isner in a tasty looking appetiser. Then it’s the showstopper, as Novak Djokovic clashes with Rafael Nadal in a rematch of the 2011 Wimbledon Final.
The Spaniard has looked seriously impressive at SW19 this year and came through a difficult looking match against Juan Martin Del Potro in the quarter-final after being 2-1 down.
His record at this stage of the tournament is impeccable too. In five semi-final appearances in South London, Nadal has won them all.
Djokovic, on the other hand, has been turned over in three of his seven Wimbledon semi-final appearances.
He does, however, lead Nadal 3-2 when it comes to head-to-head encounters on this particular patch of grass. Our traders can’t separate the two tennis titans as a result.
You can back either play at 10/11 to win this afternoon’s match-up. Similarly, it’s 5/1 apiece for a 3-2 victory, with 9/4 about there being Over 4.5 Sets in the Match.
Before that John Isner takes on Roger Federer’s conqueror, Kevin Anderson.
Both players are in uncharted territory at Wimbledon and will likely never get a better chance to make the showpiece.
Anderson has had a tougher route through to the final and overcame eight-time champion Federer in a five-set epic on Wednesday afternoon.
His opponent has dropped just three sets so far and comfortably dispatched number 13 seed Milos Raonic 3-1 in the quarter-finals.
Isner may have won his last five head-to-head matches with the South African, but all of those were over the shorter format. We can’t separate the duo in this one at 10/11 apiece.
A match between two fairly evenly matched players will likely see neither stroll to success. It’s 10/11 for there to be Over 48.5 Games and 2/1 for the pair to contest Over 4.5 Sets.
