Sunday at the World Cup: Senegal and Colombia set for vital wins?

Radamel Falcao - Colombia

England continue their push for a place in the last 16 against Panama, in the first of Sunday’s three games.

We’ll have a full preview of that game for you ahead of kick-off on the News.Ladbrokes homepage. But the top action from Russia continues throughout the day.

There are two key clashes in Group H, beginning with Senegal against Samurai Blue in Ekaterinburg…

Japan v Senegal

Both of these two won their opener, with a helping hand (literally in Japan’s case!) from the opposition.

Senegal benefited from a defensive howler to grab their winner in a 2-1 defeat of Poland. Meanwhile, a third-minute handball from Colombia’s Carlos Sanchez gave Samurai Blue a man advantage and an early penalty in their first clash.

However, despite currently sitting on equal points, Aliou Cisse’s men have far more quality in their ranks. They should prove too good for a workmanlike Japan – and it’s 13/10 for a Senegal victory.

The Lions of Teranga kept five clean sheets in eight qualifiers, and are 5/2 to Win to Nil. Three of their last five victories have come by a 2-0 scoreline, and they’re 9/1 for another 2-0 triumph in this one.

As for goalscorers, it’s hard to look past Liverpool’s Sadio Mane to Score Anytime at 9/5. He shares top-billing with fellow 9/5 shot Diafra Sakho.

Poland v Colombia

There haven’t been too many high-scoring games in Russia so far, but this could well be one.

Poland have found the net in 10 of their last 11 competitive games. As for Los Cafeteros, they’ve banged in nine goals in their last five fixtures ahead of this one.

It’s 10/11 for Both Teams to Score, while there’s a more ambitious 3/1 for Over 3.5 Goals.

Jose Pekerman’s side were unlucky not to take a point or more against Japan, despite playing 87 minutes with 10 men. It’s 5/4 for a Colombian victory, and 4/1 for Colombia and BTTS.

Juan Fernando Quintro is 3/1 to score for the third game in succession, while the prolific Robert Lewandowski is 13/10 to open his account for the tournament.
