McClean and Evans set to lead West Brom exodus

Jonny Evans transfer news

West Bromwich Albion may have been relegated last season, but our odds suggest several of their players are set for a swift Premier League return.

James McClean is 1/5 to stay in the Championship with Stoke City. But Jonny Evans, Jake Livermore, Salomon Rondon and Kieran Gibbs all seem primed for top-flight moves.

Evans has a £3m release clause and could be a real bargain. Leicester City are 4/6 to snap up the Northern Ireland defender.

Livermore is 5/4 to join Crystal Palace as a potential replacement for Yohan Cabaye.

It’s 7/4 that Salomon Rondon heads to West Ham United. And Kieran Gibbs is 3/1 to move across the Midlands to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Darren Moore will do well to keep hold of his key players this summer, with the odds suggesting up to five big names could be making a move away from The Hawthorns.”
