The name’s Bond, Jane Bond? Odds slashed on female 007

Our traders have slashed the odds of a female actress replacing Daniel Craig as 007 in the Bond franchise after a flurry of bets.
It’s now 10/1 that James Bond becomes Jane Bond (was 16/1)
James Norton and Tom Hardy are 3/1 favourites to don the famous tux next.
Craig has played Bond in four films so far. Next year’s 25th Bond film is expected to be his fifth and final appearance as the iconic character.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “It is a little outdated in this day and age that there hasn’t been a female playing Bond yet, but despite the odds being slashed, it still seems an outside shot history will be made for the next 007 instalment.”
