The colour of the Queen’s hat is always the subject of intense speculation ahead of big Royal events.
And with the Royal Wedding just around the corner, we can reveal that one particular colour has been extremely popular with punters.
Our traders can report that all bets placed on the colour of Her Majesty’s hat since the weekend have been on green.
It’s meant we’ve been left with little choice but to slash odds on the colour from 5/1 to just even-money in a matter of days.
Blue has been shunted down to second-favourite at 3/1, with pink available alongside yellow at 5/1.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “There’s been plenty of interest in what the Queen will wear this weekend, and all the money we’ve taken of late has been on green.”
