The regular Premier League season draws to a close this evening with four more titanic clashes in Aberdeen.

Michael van Gerwen, Michael Smith and Rob Cross can rest easy with their spots at Finals Night already secured.

Gary Anderson looks set to join them, with only a defeat tonight coupled with a Daryl Gurney victory and a 12-leg swing able to deny him a place at the 02 Arena next Thursday.

We’ve previewed this evening’s action and come up with another Oche Acca to whet your appetite…

Michael Smith to beat Raymond van Barneveld

Smith can wrap up second spot with victory over Raymond van Barneveld tonight.

Bully Boy has been sensational this season and will be looking to replicate his 7-0 win over Barney in Week 9.

The Dutchman has improved since then. But it’s Smith who dominates in terms of tournament average and overall checkout percentage.

He’s 6/5 to pick up another win tonight, with another 7-0 whitewash available at 50/1. A 7-3 success is more realistic at 9/1, while Barney is 6/5 to outscore is opponent on the 180 count.

Rob Cross to beat Simon Whitlock

These two have endured contrasting Premier League seasons. World champion Cross started with two defeats but has since gone on to win eight of 13 games.

Meanwhile, Whitlock started the season with a hat-trick of triumphs but has tasted success just twice since.

Add in Voltage’s superior 180 record, overall average and a near 10-point advantage on the checkouts, and we can only see this match going one way.

Cross is 2/5 to taste success. You can also get the 27-year-old at 5/4 on the -3.5 Handicap. He’s 2/1 to be King of the Oche.

Daryl Gurney to beat Peter Wright

Gurney requires a minor miracle if he’s to make it to Finals Night in his debut season.

He needs to beat Peter Wright and hope for a 12-leg swing against Anderson, who faces van Gerwen in the final game of the night.

It’s a tough ask – but it’s not impossible. Wright has the worst leg difference of the remaining players and has been tonked on no fewer than four occasions this season.

Superchin has the scoring power to see off the Scotsman. But he’ll need to tighten up on his doubles against his opponent, who has the best checkout percentage of players outside the top-four.

Gurney is 6/4 to take the spoils. It’s 25/1 that he inflicts another 7-1 defeat on Snakebite, while you can also back Over 6.5 180s at 4/6 in a match between two power scorers.

Michael van Gerwen to beat Gary Anderson

The evening concludes with what should be the game of the night between van Gerwen and Anderson.

MVG prevailed when they last met in Week 3 – he’s also landed a Players’ Championship defeat on the Scotsman since then, too.

The Dutchman continued his revival last week with a 111.57 average in his 7-2 demolition of Cross. Ando has been out of sorts of late and could suffer against the Green Machine as a result.

We go 8/15 about a van Gerwen victory. It’s 6/1 he edges through 7-3, as he did in Newcastle. You can back Over 7.5 180s at 11/10.

This week’s Oche Acca is Smith, Cross, Gurney and van Gerwen to win at 10/1!
