We’ve priced up the most likely 2018 Strictly Come Dancing contenders

The 2018 edition of Strictly Come Dancing is still over four months away. But that hasn’t stopped our traders pricing up the most likely contenders to vie for the Glitterball Trophy.

Coleen Rooney is at the front of the queue following reports that the mum-of-four wants to sign up to the sequin spectacular.

We make her the 6/4 favourite to enter the show when it returns later this year.

She’s closely followed by former Coronation Street star Michelle Keegan. The 30-year-old left the cobbles in 2014 but is 2/1 to put her best foot forward on the dancefloor.

Mark Labbett, aka The Beast from ITV’s The Chase, is the pick of the male contenders at 3/1 alongside Les Dennis (3/1) and former England goalkeeper David James (7/2).

Dan Walker (4/1) and Piers Morgan (6/1) could resolve their spat with ballroom dancing, while it’s an 8/1 chance fellow news presenter, Carrie Gracie, finally gets a payrise from Beeb bosses by signing up for Strictly.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “It would be a huge coup for the BBC to get Coleen on Strictly this year. Fans would love to see her show Wayne she’s the Queen of the ballroom.”
