Royal baby is odds-on to arrive next week

The Duchess of Cambridge is odds-on to give birth to her third child next week according to our latest odds.

As Kate’s due date nears the bookies make it odds-on at 4/6 the tot enters the world between Monday 23 April – Sunday 29 April, or it’s a 2/1 chance the baby is born before this weekend is over.

A birth on Monday (23rd) or Tuesday (24th) are the joint-favourites for the newborn’s birthday, or it’s an 8/1 chance he or she arrives on Wednesday (25th).

Ladbrokes’s punters still believe Kate and Wills’ new addition to the family will be a little boy at odds of 10/11, or it’s an even money chance George and Charlotte are joined by a little sister soon.

Arthur (5/1), Mary (6/1), Alice (7/1) and James (8/1) lead the way to be the moniker of choice, however punters are still having a flutter on outsider Thomas at 20/1.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “With Kate thought to be overdue during her first two pregnancies, it looks like the nation could be kept to wait for a third time, but as far as the odds are concerned the Royal Baby will enter the world next week.”
