Max Allegri has emerged as the new market leader to replace Arsene Wenger as Arsenal manager.

We have slashed odds from 6/1 to just 5/2 over the weekend on the Juventus boss getting the job.

The move means he’s now leapfrogged Luis Enrique (4/1) at the head of the market.

Brendan Rodgers (8/1) is now the only other name shorter than 10/1 for the job.

Former Chelsea and Bayern Munich boss Carlo Ancelotti is 10/1, ahead of Germany head coach Joachim Low (12/1) and former Arsenal midfielders Mikel Arteta and Patrick Vieira (12/1 apiece).

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “It’s all change at the head of the Next Arsenal Manager market with Allegri now proving popular with punters.”
