Hamilton v Celtic tips: Hoops win likely but Accies dangerous up front

Hamilton v Celtic (1600)

Celtic have one hand on the Ladbrokes Premiership title, but they’re not there just yet.

And they could face a tricky test on Sunday against a Hamilton Academical side looking to avoid a late season relegation scrap.

Brendan Rodgers’ men have dominated this fixture in recent times, winning each of the last five meetings.

And with Accies losing their last three games, it’s hard to see past a Hoops victory at 2/11, with 6/1 for the draw and 18/1 for a Hamilton win.

However, it might not all be plain sailing for the Glasgow giants.

Hamilton have scored 11 times in their last six home games, winning each of the last two. They’ve scored more than any side outside the top five, and registered in their last two meetings with Celtic.

It’s 13/10 for Both Teams to Score, while our odds-crunchers have Celtic to Win and BTTS at 21/10.

The last meetings between the sides ended 3-1 to the Parkhead club, and a repeat of that scoreline is 11/1.

Each of the last two meetings have seen the net bulge at least three times before the interval. First Half: Over 2.5 Goals is 9/2, while it’s a 5/4 shot that we see Over 3.5 across the whole game.

The Hoops have Moussa Dembele in fine form. The Frenchman has scored five times in his last six games, breaking the deadlock in three of them.

He’s 3/4 to register Anytime, while it’s 11/4 he opens the scoring.

For the hosts, January signing Marios Ogboe has impressed – finding the net in three of his previous five outings. He’s 10/3 to add to that tally against the champions.
