Boris Johnson 3/1 favourite to be next Cabinet Minister to leave

Our traders make Boris Johnson the frontrunner to be the next Cabinet Minister to leave their post.

The Foreign Secretary is 3/1 to be the next one out, having taken over the position in July 2016.

Prime Minister Theresa May is next at 4/1, while odds of a departure for Justice Secretary David Gauke have drifted to 8/1.

That puts the MP for South West Hertfordshire alongside Philip Hammond at 8s. Meanwhile, the quartet of Chris Grayling, David Davis, Gavin Williamson and Liam Fox are all 12/1 to vacate their respective positions next.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “Punters are beginning to wonder how many more gaffes that Boris can get away with.”

Whether or not BoJo can cling on remains to be seen, but the odds suggest he has reason to be concerned.
