Tottenham eyeing a Rolls Reus-type new addition

Tottenham Hotspur could swoop in and take advantage of Marco Reus’ contract stalemate with Borussia Dortmund.

Reus will only have a year left on his deal this summer. But he wants to see what Dortmund do in the transfer market before agreeing to new terms.

That could open the door for Spurs to grab a potential bargain.

When Reus is fully fit, he’s one of the best wingers in Europe. He’s expected to be in Germany’s World Cup squad this summer. But the problem with the 28-year-old is that he’s badly struggled with injuries in the last few years.

If Spurs can help him stay fit, he’d be a great addition to Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

His skill, eye for a pass and finishing ability allow him to operate anywhere across the front line.

The North London club are currently fourth in the table. They’re clear 2/11 favourites to beat Huddersfield Town at home this weekend.
