Sunderland 1/10 favs in list of sides likely for Championship drop

Our traders have priced up the five sides most likely to be relegated from the Championship this season, and it’s bad news for Sunderland fans.
The Black Cats are currently four points from safety. And having taken just three points from their last nine games, they’re now just 1/10 for another relegation this term.
Chris Coleman’s men are one of three teams currently odds-on to be playing League One football next term.
Burton Albion are 1/5 for the drop, though the division’s smallest club have managed a draw or better in four of their last six games.
It’s 4/9 for Birmingham City to go down. Blues have lost seven games on the spin, and are running out of time to revive their form.
Meanwhile, it’s 2/1 for Barnsley to suffer relegation. And there’s 5/2 for Bolton to endure heartbreak. However, the Trotters strong home record should be enough to save them.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “They’re still within touching distance of safety, but the odds suggest the Black Cats’ luck has run out.”
