Premier League Picks: Man City to get stuck against Toffees, Saints to shine

After an extended holiday, the Premier League is back with a bang this Saturday afternoon. England’s top-flight has eight fixtures across the afternoon.
The battle for the top-four carries on alongside a war among at least eight teams to stave off relegation.
It’s all set up for a huge weekend of action from the Premier League. And we’ve got plenty of tips for you from across the eight games…
Crystal Palace v Liverpool
The early kick-off sees Palace host Liverpool at Selhurst Park. Roy Hodgson will be delighted to have Wilfried Zaha fully fit and back in the side.
Liverpool are 4/9 to win here. But is this just the type of game where the Reds slip up? Emre Can is a big doubt. Joe Gomez is definitely out.
Klopp’s outfit have won their last three visits to the South London venue. But Zaha and Christian Benteke are a potent combination up top.
The ex-Liverpool striker will be desperate to score against his former team. He’s 14/5 to be an Anytime Goalscorer. Mohamed Salah is 13/5 to be First Goalscorer.
West Ham United v Southampton
Things are not going well at the London Stadium right now. The Hammers are struggling on the pitch. And the fans are in revolt against the owners off it.
Southampton take a trip to the capital with new manager Mark Hughes in tow. And that might make all the difference here.
The Saints made it to Wembley in their first game under Hughes. And they can take advantage of a West Ham side in complete disarray. Score early and the Hammers could fold.
Southampton are 31/20 to pile more misery on David Moyes’ team.
West Bromwich Albion v Burnley
Speaking of sides in disarray, West Brom are rooted to the foot of the table and 10 points from safety.
Alan Pardew’s appointment has failed to make a difference as the Baggies slide towards the Championship.
Burnley have won their last two league games in a row and are just five points off Arsenal in sixth. Sean Dyche will be targeting another three points here at the Hawthorns.
The Clarets are 2/1 to pile the pressure on the West Midlands outfit.
Everton v Manchester City
Everton, more than most, tend to cause Manchester City problems when the two sides play.
The Toffees bagged a draw under Ronald Koeman at the Etihad in the return fixture earlier in the season. But can Sam Allardyce replicate that result or better at Goodison Park?
The Merseyside outfit have won their previous two games and look a more purposeful and pacey side in recent weeks. And Pep Guardiola, oddly, has failed to beat Everton in his career so far.
It’s 10/11 both teams score. Everton are 21/10 on the Double Chance market.
And the rest…
Manchester United host Swansea City at Old Trafford. Jose Mourinho’s side should be much too strong for the Swans.
Romelu Lukaku bagged a brace for Belgium in midweek. The striker is 11/4 to be First Goalscorer and 5/6 to score Anytime.
Newcastle United host Huddersfield Town at St. James’ Park. The Magpies are unbeaten in six and are 8/11 to earn all three points here.
Brighton and Hove Albion welcome Leicester City to the Amex Stadium. The Seagulls have been strong there all season, winning their last three on the bounce at home. Chris Hughton’s side are 17/10 to make it four.
