Premier League Picks: Leicester and Stoke to pick up vital points

King Power Stadium - Leicester City

We’re heading into the final 10 games of the Premier League season this weekend. And while the title race is pretty much settled, everything else is up in the air.

Saturday sees seven games on the cards, including vital matches for four of the bottom five. We give our tips and predictions, starting with a relegation six-pointer as the Potters head to the South Coast…

Southampton v Stoke City

Southampton may be three spots above their 19th-placed visitors, but in truth there’s almost nothing between these sides. A single point separates them – and the pair’s Head-to-Head record suggests the Potters could leapfrog the Saints on Saturday.

The Staffordshire club have won each of the last two meetings. Another Win for Stoke is 4/1. Meanwhile, they’re available in the Double Chance at 11/10.

Peter Crouch has closed out the scoring in each of those past two clashes. The veteran beanpole is 11/4 to Net Anytime, while it’s 8/1 for Crouchy to be Last Goalscorer.

Swansea City v West Ham United

It’s hard to call where the points are heading in this one. The Swans have won six on the trot at home. But it’s the Irons who have dominated this fixture. They’ve enjoyed three successive wins – including a 4-1 rout at the Liberty Stadium last term.

One thing which looks easy to predict is goals. Four of the Irons’ last seven away games have produced four or more goals. There’s 10/3 on offer for Over 3.5 Goals again. Meanwhile, our traders make it 19/20 for Both Teams to Score.

Javier Hernandez could well be part of a goal glut in South Wales. He’s scored in three of his last six outings, and has three prior goals against the Swans from his Manchester United days. The Mexican ace is 2/1 to Score Anytime.

Tottenham Hotspur v Huddersfield Town

Spurs fielded a fairly strong side for Wednesday night’s FA Cup replay against Rochdale – a game played in pretty gruelling conditions. And that could give the Terriers an advantage ahead of this clash at Wembley.

While Tottenham are firm favourites for victory at 2/11, they’ll have their work cut out against a Huddersfield side who’ve won two of their last three games.

Half-Time Double Chance: Huddersfield or Draw is on offer at 23/20, while the Terriers +3 handicap across the 90 minutes is an 8/15 shot.

Visitors striker Steve Mounie is in good form, with goals in four of his last seven – including the winner at West Brom last weekend. He’s 15/4 to Score Anytime.

Leicester v AFC Bournemouth

Claude Puel’s men haven’t lost in seven at the King Power Stadium. And visitors Bournemouth have never won at this ground.

Eddie Howe’s men have been pretty dismal on their travels of late. They’ve managed a solitary win in 10 on the road, losing 3-0 to League One Wigan Athletic and 4-1 to Huddersfield in the process.

Another Win for Leicester is 4/5, while the Foxes -1 handicap is a 21/10 shot.

The hosts have Jamie Vardy in terrific form. The England international has scored in five of his last seven, and could send the King Power into party mode again at Evens to Score Anytime.

And the rest…

Jurgen Klopp’s men have won their last three games by a margin of two or more goals. They host Newcastle United on Saturday, with the Liverpool -1 handicap available at 6/10.

Basement-dwelling West Bromwich Albion head to Watford. The Hornets have won two of their last three, including a 4-1 mauling of Chelsea. The odds make it 6/1 for the Hornets to Win Both Halves.

Burnley are looking to return to form against an Everton side who’ve won just one Prem game on their travels this term. Sean Dyche’s men are 7/5 for a home win.
