Liverpool v Porto: Reds on course for another commanding win

Published:
Sadio Mane - Liverpool

Few sides in Europe can match Liverpool for form right now. The Reds have won five and drawn one of their last six games. That included a 5-0 mauling of FC Porto at Estadio do Dragao. And another comfortable Reds win is likely in the second leg.

Jurgen Klopp’s men are 1/2 to win on the night. Meanwhile, honours-even at Anfield is a 13/4 shot, while it’s 5/1 for a Porto victory.

The Reds’ last five triumphs have all come by a margin of two or more goals. It’s 27/20 for the Liverpool -1 handicap, while the odds make it 10/3 for Liverpool -2.

Porto’s defence are probably still having nightmares about Sadio Mane. The Senegal ace bagged a hat-trick in the first leg, and has closed out the scoring in all of his last three outings. He’s 13/8 to Net Anytime and 5/1 as Last Goalscorer.

While the visitors are unlikely to get a result, they’ll probably score this time out. They’ve netted 23 times in eight games, with many of those coming from Moussa Marega.

He’s 11/5 to Score Anytime, while Liverpool to Win and Both Teams to Score is 2/1.

One thing the Premier League giants often do is outscore their opponents either side of the break. They’ve won both halves in 13 games this season, including four of the last six.

It’s a 6/1 shot that we see Liverpool Win Both Halves once again.
