Eight Prem bosses odds-on to be gone by start of next season

As many as eight Premier League managers are odds-on to leave their posts before the start of next season, according to our traders.

Nine managers have already been sent packing in the top-flight this season. And now we’ve priced up the remaining bosses as well.

West Bromwich Albion manager Alan Pardew is considered the most likely man to bite the bullet before the start of next season.

The ex-Newcastle United gaffer only joined the club in November 2017 but is now 1/10 to exit the Hawthorns before day one of the 2018-19 campaign.

He’s closely followed by under-pressure Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger. Reports suggest that former Borussia Dortmund chief Thomas Tuchel is in talks to takeover at the Emirates from the start of next season.

That leaves Wenger as a 1/6 shot to face the axe in the summer.

Antonio Conte (1/2), Jose Mourinho (4/7) and Sam Allardyce (8/11) are also odds-on to leave their respective clubs.

At the other end of the market, Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola are both considered to be relatively safe at 5/1 apiece.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “The latest odds tell us we can expect a hectic few months of managerial arrivals and departures in the top flight, with eight men odds-on to move on.”
