Wigan 40/1 to win the FA Cup after famous Man City win

Wigan Athletic’s odds of winning the FA Cup have been slashed to 40/1 following their shock victory over Manchester City.
The League One outfit were as big as 20/1 prior to kick-off to defeat the Premier League giants.
A 1-0 win for the hosts was just as likely as a 7-0 victory for the visitors, according to the pre-match odds.
City’s shock exit means Manchester United are the new 9/4 favourites to lift the trophy, ahead of Tottenham Hotspur (11/4) and Chelsea (10/3).
Meanwhile, odds of Arsenal beating Pep Guardiola’s side in the Carabao Cup this Sunday are currently 9/2.
City remain the clear 8/15 favourites to bounce back with a win this weekend.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Wigan pulled off one of the biggest cupsets we’ve seen in recent years last night, and after already beating the best side in the competition, there could be some value in the 40/1 on them going all the way this year.”
