Following three defeats on the spin, West Bromwich Albion are sitting bottom of the Premier League – seven points from safety. And the view from our trading floor is that the Baggies are well-and-truly doomed.

Alan Pardew’s men are 4/11 to slip back to the Championship, after eight unbroken years in the top flight. But they’re not the only side currently odds-on for relegation.

Stoke City are now 4/5 to lose their Prem status, following just one win in their past eight games. Huddersfield Town are also 5/6 for the drop – though Sunday’s victory over AFC Bournemouth will have boosted their hopes.

But in a tight Premier League table, five other sides find themselves 4/1 or shorter for relegation.

Improving Swansea City are 11/5 to see their recent good work undone. Meanwhile, Brighton & Hove Albion are 13/5 and the Seagulls’ rivals Crystal Palace 3/1 for the drop.

Newcastle United and Southampton are each available at 4/1 to be relegated this season.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “The Baggies have it all to do if they’re to keep hold of their Premier League status. Time is running out and as things stand, the odds are massively against them.”
