Swansea on for biggest relegation upset in Premier League history

Swansea City could cause the biggest relegation upset the Premier League has ever seen if they avoid the drop, according to Ladbrokes.
The Welsh outfit were as short as 1/7 to be relegated on 31 December, a record low price after 21 games.
But their odds of going down have since drifted to 2/1 after a nine-game unbeaten run in all competitions.
New boss Carlos Carvalhal is just 7/4 to win January’s Manager of the Month award, with Swansea now 16/1 shots for a top-half finish in the Prem this season (from 150/1 on 31 December).
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “The turnaround in fortunes since Carvalhal took over at the Liberty is like nothing we’ve ever seen before. Seven games ago the Swans were on course for an embarrassing campaign – it now looks like it could be their best season in years.”
He added: “Plenty thought the Welsh club were preparing for life in the Championship with the appointment of the Portuguese boss, but right now he’s proving pundits, punters and our traders wrong.”
