The Premier League heads to Berlin for the very first time on Thursday night with five crucial games as the table begins to take shape.

Gary Anderson faces Peter Wright in the pick of the matches, while the division’s top-two face-off in the opening game of the evening as Michael Smith takes on Simon Whitlock.

We’ve previewed all of the night’s action below and come up with a 10/1 acca for you to enjoy…

Michael Smith to beat Simon Whitlock

The opening game of the night pitches together the two remaining players with 100% records. Michael Smith has been impressive on both the floor and the stage and as such gets the nod at 6/5.

‘Bully Boy’ dismantled Mensur Suljovic 7-2 last week thanks in no small part to a sensational 63.64% checkout rate.

The 27-year-old is in the best form of his career. He should be able to chalk up a sixth win in nine meetings against Simon Whitlock.

Smith is 6/5 to Win with a -1.5 Handicap. You can also get 19/10 about the St Helens-slinger rattling in a First Leg 180.

Mensur Sulovic to beat Gerwyn Price

Don’t be fooled by Mensur Suljovic’s position at the foot of the Premier League table. The Austrian may have lost three games but he’s equipped himself well each time.

In his three defeats so far, Suljovic’s opponents have missed a combined total of 13 out of a possible 34 doubles against him. The 45-year-old is due some luck.

And we think he may get it against the winless Gerwyn Price. ‘The Gentle’ is 6/5 to claim the spoils, with 7-3 looking tempting at 7/1. Suljovic to win with a -2.5 Handicap is available at 2/1.

Michael van Gerwen to beat Daryl Gurney

MVG returned to form last week with a scintillating 7-3 victory over Gary Anderson in Newcastle.

The Green Machine recorded a 110.62 average and finished with 58.33% on his checkouts as the Dutchman put in the performance of the Premier League so far.

Against Daryl Gurney, whom he’s beaten in nine of their 11 meetings, the Boxtel-native should justify favouritism at 1/4.

On last week’s form, van Gerwen also looks value to win with a -4.5 Handicap at 6/4. We also like the look of a 7-2 win for the Dutchman in the Correct Scoreline market at 7/2.

Rob Cross to beat Raymond van Barneveld

Rob Cross has enjoyed huge success against Raymond van Barneveld since turning professional last year. ‘Voltage’ has won all three of his matches against Barney and has never gone the distance with the Dutchman.

The 27-year-old returned to form last week with an impressive 7-4 victory over Peter Wright. We think that Cross should continue his recent revival against RVB, who struggled with a 93.29 average against Whitlock in Newcastle.

Cross makes plenty of appeal at 5/6. It’s 9/4 for the Englishman to win 7-4 for the second week in a row, while you can get 3/1 on the current world champion to be King of the Oche.

Gary Anderson to beat Peter Wright

The final game of the night is an all-Scottish affair as Anderson and Wright lock horns. The pair have won one game apiece going into this one, with inconsistencies blighting both of their games.

However, it’s Anderson who showed the better form last week. The Flying Scotsman recorded a 110.79 average in defeat to MVG, while Wright suffered double trouble against Cross.

Ando has won four of his seven matches with Wright in the Premier League and is even-money to make that five in Berlin.

A First Leg 180 between two power-scorers looks nailed on at 10/11. With a tight match expected, Anderson to win 7-5 could also pay at 5/1.

Meanwhile, week’s Oche Acca is Cross, van Gerwen, Suljovic and Smith to Win at 10/1!
