Ladbrokes News Acca: Bournemouth, Southampton and Colchester feature

Published:

The weekend is upon us and we’re back with another acca – and we’re more confident than ever.

That’s because last week’s five-fold came storming in at a chunky 75/1 – and plenty of you took advantage of it!

So the dander is well and truly up at Ladbrokes News HQ. Can we make it two wins on the spin?

Read on to see who we fancy this week…

Richard Marsh

Rotherham to beat Doncaster Rovers

Rotherham are the form side in League One right now. The Yorkshire outfit are unbeaten in 13 games – winning each of their last six.

They’ve got a good sniff of the automatic promotion spots now and are a shout at 3/4 to win at home to a Doncaster side who have won just one of their last nine.

Cian Carroll

Sheffield Wednesday to beat Aston Villa

After tipping Fulham to do the business over Villa last week, I’m sticking with opposing Steve Bruce’s side again this weekend.

Jack Grealish and Albert Adomah are they’re two major sources of goals and creativity. Without them, they tend to struggle.

Lewis Grabban and Keinan Davis are also doubtful. Wednesday haven’t been great at home this term but against a blunt Villa, this could be their chance to bag three points.

The Owls are 21/10 to win.

Dave Burin

Colchester United to beat Barnet

The U’s host a Barnet side who sit bottom of League Two, having lost 11 of their last 13 away games.

As for John McGreal’s men, they still have an outside shot at the play-offs, following back-to-back home wins over Newport County and Coventry City.

Add in the fact the Essex club have won each of their last two meetings with the Bees, and Colchester to Win is 21/20.

Dan Anwar

Bournemouth to beat Newcastle United

Bournemouth are unbeaten so far in 2018. And their home record suggests that won’t change when Newcastle come to town on Saturday.

The Cherries have only lost one of their last seven games at the Vitality Stadium.

They’re 21/20 to beat a Newcastle side that have won just three times on the road in league action this term.

Miguel Assuncao

Derby County to beat Reading

Gary Rowett’s men have lost just once away in the league since late September and will fancy their chances of picking up another three points at the Madejski.

Reading have lost their last four at home and the Rams can continue their promotion push with a win at 5/4.

So there we go. This Saturday’s selections are Rotherham/Sheffield Wednesday/Colchester/Bournemouth and Derby County all to win!
