The Carabao Cup takes place this Sunday with Arsenal meeting Manchester City under the arch at Wembley.

Pep Guardiola’s side saw their hopes of a quadruple die on Monday night when they lost to Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup, but a treble is still very much on the cards.

And the Spaniard is odds-on to claim his first piece of silverware as City boss this weekend. The Premier League leaders are 4/7 to win the match.

Arsenal are chunky outsiders at 21/5, with the draw after 90 minutes available at 13/4.

It’s a similar story in lift the trophy odds. City are 4/11 with Arsenal out at 2/1.

Results have been evenly split between the two sides in recent years, but the Citizens cruised to a 3-1 win when they met at the Etihad in November.

They’ve had two days extra rest than the Gunners too, who were poor in a 2-1 loss to Ostersunds on  Thursday night.

If both teams play to their best, we should see a thrilling final.

Arsenal do often turn up for the big occasion, but City could dominate if Arsene Wenger’s men crumble.

It’s 21/20 for City to win and over 2.5 goals, while 17/10 says the game ends in a City win and both teams score.

City on the -1 handicap appeals too at 29/20.

Arsenal will have a job to keep Sergio Aguero quiet. The Argentine has scored 25 goals from 28 games in domestic competition this season.

He’s scored seven times against the Gunners already, and is 10/3 favourite to net the opener.

Bigger value lies with Raheem Sterling however, with the winger 5/1 to break the deadlock. Kevin de Bruyne will also be a popular selection at 15/2.

As for the Gunners, they’ll need a big performance from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The Gabon striker has already netted for his new club, and is 11/2 to score first in his first English cup final.

Worryingly for the London side, Aubameyang is the only Arsenal player in the eight shortest names for first goalscorer.
