Brendan Cole shorter to win I’m A Celeb than return to Strictly

Brendan Cole is likely to appear in this year’s I’m A Celebrity, with odds of the 41-year-old heading to the jungle now just 1/3.

And our traders make his odds of winning the show shorter than a return to Strictly Come Dancing – following the New Zealander’s recent axe from the show.

As it stands, Cole is 16/1 to be crowned King of the Jungle in this year’s edition.

That’s considerably shorter than the 25/1 about the former ballroom stalwart rejoining the ranks of Strictly.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Eyebrows were raised when Strictly sent Brendan packing, but the latest odds suggest I’m a Celeb chiefs may be about to tap the dancer up.”

There’s been little info so far about other potential celebs heading for the jungle this year, but with Brendan seemingly set to throw his hat in the ring, new names are likely to follow.
