Antonio Conte looks like he’s heading for an imminent Chelsea exit, according to our traders.
The Blues are 18 points off the pace in the Premier League and the Italian boss now looks more likely than ever to be sent packing.
Roman Abramovich and Chelsea’s top brass are known to have a frosty relationship with the former Juventus manager. And with Chelsea continuing to struggle, a parting of the ways could be drawing ever nearer.
The bookies are offering 1/2 about Conte being sacked before the opening day of next season – the shortest price yet for the Premier League winning manager.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Things couldn’t get much worse for Conte and Chelsea right now, and for the first time in the Italian gaffer’s reign, he’s odds-on to leave before the start of next season.”
The next few months of Conte’s reign will be vital.
