Southampton favourites to sign Bristol City’s Bobby Reid

Southampton are leading the way in the race to sign Bristol City star Bobby Reid this month, according to our odds.

The Saints are 7/4 to clinch his signature ahead of a number of Premier League rivals.

West Ham United are second in the betting at 2/1, with Leicester City just behind as a 5/2 shot.

Further back, Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion are 11/4 and 3/1 respectively.

It’s not hard to see why Reid is in such demand. The 24-year-old has scored 12 goals in the Championship this season. He also struck against Manchester City in Tuesday’s Carabao Cup semi-final.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Reid has been in sensational form this season, and with the transfer window open again it wouldn’t be a surprise if at least one club tried to sign him.”

“As things stand we make Southampton the most likely side to do just that.”
