Rumour Reel Round-Up: More signings on the way for Man Utd?
Published:There’s just over a week to go until the transfer window shuts for the rest of the season.
And this is when the market really starts to heat up.
We’ve taken a look at four more moves that could go through before the end of the month:
Jean Michael Seri
Manchester United have already brought in Alexis Sanchez but they may not be done there.
The club are reportedly ready to challenge Manchester City to sign Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri.
The 26-year-old is seen as a potential replacement for Michael Carrick.
Danilo Pereira
Porto midfielder Danilo Pereira is also believed to be in United’s sights. But Arsenal are keen on the 26-year-old as well.
Scouts from both teams were reported to be monitoring Pereira in Porto’s win over Tondela last week.
It would likely cost around £20m for either side to bring the Portugal international to the Premier League.
Benik Afobe
West Bromwich Albion need to start scoring more goals if they’re going to climb up the table. And they believe Bournemouth striker Benik Afobe could provide them.
The former Arsenal man has fallen down the pecking order on the South Coast and could be open to a move.
West Brom are 6/5 to bring him in. But they face competition from Black Country rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers at 2/1.
Islam Slimani
Chelsea’s increasingly frantic search for a striker could lead them to Leicester City’s Islam Slimani.
The Blues are after a target man as an alternative to Alvaro Morata and the 29-year-old fits the mould.
