With just one week to go until the January transfer window slams shut, clubs are urgently tying up deals to bolster their respective squads.

We’ve got news of a possible departure at West Ham United, plus soon to be done deals at Crystal Palace and Southampton.

Here’s today’s rumour reel round-up…

Arthur Masuaku

West Ham’s Arthur Masuaku is reportedly a target for a trio of European heavyweights.

Monaco, AS Roma and Manchester United are all said to be monitoring the Hammers’ wing-back.

The Italian club look set to lose Emerson Palmieri and are 6/4 favourites to replace him with the 24-year-old.

Leonardo Jardim’s Monaco come next at 5/2, with the Red Devils currently third-favourites at 7/2.

All three clubs have money in the bank and won’t baulk at the Hammers’ reported £20m valuation.

Nicolai Jorgensen

Feyenoord striker Nicolai Jorgensen could be set for a move to Newcastle United this month.

The Magpies have already seen one bid knocked back by the Eredivisie club. However, they look set to return with another which could break their 12-year transfer record.

Jorgensen has hit 26 goals in 43 games in Holland and has 28 caps at international level for Denmark.

His capture is much-needed by Newcastle. But a move depends on whether Mike Ashley is willing to stump up the cash for the 27-year-old.

Vicente Guaita

Crystal Palace have long had issues in the goalkeeping department.

Wayne Hennessey and Julian Speroni both lack the quality to command a regular starting berth at Selhurst Park.

So could Vicente Guaita be the answer to the Eagles’ problems between the sticks?

The 31-year-old stopper looks set to join the club from Getafe within the next 48 hours.

Standing at 6ft 3in tall, the Spaniard has had spells with Valencia and Recreativo and will cost Palace around £7m.

Guido Carrillo

Southampton look set to bolster their striking options with the signing of Guido Carrillo from Monaco for £19.2m.

The Argentina international has scored five goals in 19 appearances so far this season and has 12 goals in his last 45 matches.

At 6ft 2in his acquisition should give the Saints more of a presence up-front.

And that could be important as Mauricio Pellegrino’s side look to improve on their tally of 24 goals in the Premier League.
